About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
- Provide mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
- Partner with commercial health plans and serve Medicaid and Medicare patients
- Conduct approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
- Use comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
- Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
- Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
- Deliver care using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Participate in the application review and recruitment process, including completing a post-application questionnaire if requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's level degree and licensure
- LMHC and LMFT candidates must have Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D)
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Work-from-home space must provide privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English; Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages a plus
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Ability and willingness to complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
- Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as requested
