About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health treatment
- Provide care to patients across the lifespan
- Partner with commercial health plans and operate as a licensed Medicaid and Medicare provider
- Complete approximately 30 client-care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Use mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses to inform care
- Develop treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
- Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Support Brave Health's expansion into new markets by obtaining additional state licenses when needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's level degree and licensure
- LMHC and LMFT candidates must have Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D)
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Must not rely on temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses
- Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA compliance
- Fluency in English
- Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning skills
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to use comprehensive assessments
- Willingness to complete 30 client-care hours per week
- Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
