About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth program
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health treatment remotely
- Provide care to patients across the lifespan
- Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Conduct psychotherapy and comprehensive assessments
- Diagnose and treat mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
- Develop treatment plans in partnership with clients to achieve goals
- Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Participate in qualified supervision when applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English; Spanish preferred and other languages a plus
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Availability for a full-time Monday–Friday schedule
- Willingness to complete 30 client care hours per week
- Experience with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders
- Experience with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
- Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
- Current applicable associate therapist/registered intern or professional licensure, as applicable to the candidate's state
