About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide full-time outpatient therapy services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
Deliver mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan, including adolescents ages 13–17
Provide one-on-one psychotherapy
Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Develop treatment plans and use comprehensive assessments
Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
Conduct approximately 30 patient-facing hours per week, typically seeing 6–8 patients per day
Complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions
Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Work with patients covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's level degree and licensure
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
Fluency in English
Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
Treatment planning skills
Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
Current independent clinical licensure in an applicable state
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
Willingness and ability to provide one-on-one psychotherapy, including to adolescents ages 13–17
Ability to complete approximately 30 patient-facing hours per week, typically 6–8 patients per day
Ability to complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions
Ability to commit to a fixed Monday–Friday schedule
