About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide outpatient mental health services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
Deliver therapy to patients across the lifespan, including adolescents ages 13–17
Diagnose and treat mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Develop treatment plans
Conduct comprehensive assessments
Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Complete approximately 30 patient-facing hours per week, typically seeing 6–8 patients per day
Complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions
Work a fixed Monday–Friday schedule during either 9am–6pm or 10am–7pm CDT
Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's level degree and licensure
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
Fluency in English; Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
Treatment planning
Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
Independent licensure, including LPC or equivalent credential
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
Recent one-on-one psychotherapy experience
Willingness to provide therapy to adolescents ages 13–17
Ability to complete approximately 30 patient-facing hours per week, typically seeing 6–8 patients per day
Ability to complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions
Ability to commit to a fixed Monday–Friday schedule
