About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide full-time outpatient mental health services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
Provide one-on-one psychotherapy to patients across the lifespan, including adolescents ages 13–17
Treat mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Develop treatment plans
Conduct comprehensive assessments
Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Complete approximately 30 patient-facing hours per week, typically seeing 6–8 patients per day
Complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions
Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's level degree and licensure
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
Fluency in English; Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
Treatment planning skills
Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
Ability to use comprehensive assessments
Current independent clinical licensure in a relevant state credential (e.g., LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LISW, LMFT, LMHC, LPCC)
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
Willingness and ability to provide one-on-one psychotherapy, including to adolescents ages 13–17
Comfortable completing approximately 30 patient-facing hours per week, typically 6–8 patients per day
Comfortable completing clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions
Able to work a fixed Monday–Friday schedule
