About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
- Deliver compassionate mental health care to patients across the lifespan
- Conduct psychotherapy and client assessments
- Develop treatment plans
- Partner with clients to achieve their goals
- Provide care for patients with mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
- Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week
- Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Participate in the application and recruiter screening process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English; Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning skills
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Ability to complete 30 client care hours per week (approximately 6 clients per day)
- Experience working with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders
- Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
- Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
- Current licensure such as LSW, LMSW, LPC, or equivalent associate/intern license
