About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
  • Deliver mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
  • Provide care to patients covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare
  • Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
  • Use comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
  • Conduct care through telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's level degree and licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Treatment planning
  • Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
  • Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
  • Full-time availability Monday through Friday
  • Ability to complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
  • Experience working with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders
  • Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
  • Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
