About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
  • Deliver mental health treatment through technology to expand access to compassionate, high-quality care
  • Provide care to patients across the lifespan
  • Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
  • Use mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses to inform treatment
  • Develop treatment plans
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Partner with clients to achieve their goals
  • Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Participate in the application questionnaire and recruiter process if selected

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's level degree and licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA compliance
  • Fluency in English
  • Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Treatment planning
  • Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
  • Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
  • Comfortable completing 30 client care hours per week
  • Experience working with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders
  • Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness
  • Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
