About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
Deliver mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
Provide care to patients covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare
Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
Conduct one-on-one psychotherapy
Diagnose and address mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Develop treatment plans
Partner with clients to achieve their goals
Perform comprehensive assessments
Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Complete the application questionnaire and work with a senior recruiter if mutually selected

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's level degree and licensure
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
Fluency in English
Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
Treatment planning skills
Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
Ability to complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
Experience with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders
Experience with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
Current associate therapist/registered intern licensure or applicable licensure status
