About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work directly with the DBA and Data teams, supporting the organization, prioritization, and tracking of activities
- Serve as the point of contact between the technical team and other areas of the company
- Receive, understand, and organize requests related to databases, integrations, data loads, extractions, access, reports, and data availability
- Support requirements gathering and specification with requesting departments, translating business needs for the technical team
- Organize and maintain the Data demand backlog, defining priorities with management and the technical team
- Track deadlines, pending items, dependencies, and blockers
- Negotiate deadlines and priorities with requesting departments
- Track requests from submission through delivery, user acceptance testing, and completion
- Follow up and keep stakeholders informed about progress, risks, and delays
- Support the planning of deliveries, improvements, projects, and initiatives related to Data
- Coordinate alignment among DBAs, Development, Infrastructure, Security, vendors, and business areas
- Support the documentation of processes, requirements, business rules, workflows, and deliverables
- Track team metrics, such as request volume, deadlines, backlog, deliveries, and overdue activities
- Support Data Governance, data quality, traceability, access control, and LGPD compliance initiatives
- Support requests related to Data Warehouses, Data Marts, ETL/ELT, integrations, and BI
- Participate in follow-up, planning, and prioritization meetings, recording decisions and next steps
- Identify priority conflicts and dependencies between requests, escalating relevant issues to management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Data team’s support and delivery processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Knowledge of databases and data concepts
- Knowledge of SQL to understand and track technical requests
- Knowledge of databases, Data Warehouses, ETL/ELT, APIs, and integrations
- Familiarity with Data Governance, data quality, information security, and LGPD
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Ability to organize backlogs, priorities, deadlines, and dependencies
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technical teams and business areas
- Ability to transform departmental needs into clear, trackable requests
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
