About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and develop relationships with BRE's existing partners and key industry stakeholders
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development of Partnership Account Managers
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration and drive additional value from existing partnerships
  • Work with business development teams to identify, assess and implement new partnership opportunities
  • Analyse partnership performance, risks and opportunities and provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Monitor partner compliance with contractual obligations, standards and agreed processes
  • Support preparation and review of partnership agreements alongside internal legal teams
  • Represent BRE at industry events, forums and meetings in the UK and internationally
  • Respond to partner enquiries and act as a trusted point of contact
  • Produce reports and performance analysis to support decision-making and business growth
  • Build internal relationships to align partnership activities across the wider business
  • Participate in 10–30 minute AI recruiter phone screening calls if shortlisted

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in partnership management, account management, business development or a closely related field
  • Proven experience managing customer, partner or stakeholder relationships in a commercial environment
  • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and business judgement
  • Experience working with contracts, commercial agreements and risk management
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Collaborative approach and passion for developing successful partnerships
  • Good analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data and identify improvement opportunities
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and general IT confidence
  • Experience or knowledge of the built environment, construction, sustainability or property sectors
  • Desirable: Knowledge of BRE, BREEAM, SABRE or related certification and standards programmes
  • Desirable: Experience working with international partners or markets
  • Must be within commuting distance of the Watford office
  • Expected to attend the office in person 1–2 times per week
  • Expected to travel domestically and/or internationally on a semi-regular basis
