About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise, design, and implement end-to-end data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions
Work across clients in a range of industries while collaborating with multiple Bridewell teams
Support customers in maximising their investment in Microsoft Purview and associated Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies
Design and deploy Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure
Assess customer environments and requirements to deliver tailored Purview configurations, policies, and controls
Support and design deployments of eDiscovery, Communication Compliance, Information Barriers, and Data Classification
Advise on and implement Insider Risk Management and regulatory compliance best practices
Work with C-level stakeholders, compliance, and information governance teams to align technical solutions with business policies and regulatory requirements
Integrate Microsoft Purview with Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure infrastructure
Create and maintain technical project documentation, including technical configuration documents and low-level designs
Liaise with customers, stakeholders, and team members to align security strategies with business goals
Present findings and recommendations to customer technical teams and technical decision makers
Provide ongoing customer support and advisory to optimise compliance posture through continuous improvement
Support Bridewell’s wider team, including Managed Security Services, with customer-facing and internal tasks
Travel to different sites on occasion

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
Deep understanding of Purview features, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery & Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management & Records Management, Information Barriers & Data Classification
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Strong working knowledge of Azure platform integrations
Experience designing or auditing enterprise data governance and compliance controls
Strong documentation skills, including low-level designs, deployment guides, and client-facing summaries
Ability to clearly present findings, recommendations, and technical designs to clients and internal stakeholders
Excellent time management skills, with ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and within a team
Passion for problem-solving and collaborative team working
Must either hold SC security clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance
Nice-to-have: Microsoft Entra familiarity
Nice-to-have: Microsoft 365 Defender suite familiarity
Nice-to-have: Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel familiarity
Nice-to-have: AWS and/or GCP security knowledge
Nice-to-have: PowerShell, Python, or BASH knowledge
Nice-to-have: CIS and MITRE framework knowledge
Nice-to-have: Security Operations Centre experience
Nice-to-have: Customer-facing presentations to technical senior stakeholders
Nice-to-have: Industry-recognised certifications (Microsoft, SANS, ISC2, etc.)
