About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Work with business stakeholders to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical documentation
- Model and optimize business processes using BPMN and UML
- Support decision-making through structured analysis and documentation
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and testing teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Define, execute, and support functional and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Contribute to system integration initiatives involving REST and SOAP APIs
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field; alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Functional and Systems Analysis
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
- Certification in ITIL Foundation, CBAP, or an equivalent certification
- Solid experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Hands-on experience with BPMN and UML process modeling
- Experience working with REST and SOAP integrations
- Experience producing functional specifications and business analysis documentation
- Proven involvement in testing, validation, and acceptance processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams
- Proactive mindset and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Nice-to-have: experience with CRM and ERP platforms, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, BPM and Lean methodologies, public sector projects, Open Data initiatives, and GDPR compliance
