About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and maintain the organization's Information Systems Architecture strategy and roadmap
- Design and govern hybrid and multi-cloud architectures across Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments
- Lead the architecture of IoT and Edge Computing solutions
- Design integration architectures using APIs, middleware, microservices, and SOA principles
- Ensure solutions align with Security by Design standards and IT governance frameworks
- Collaborate with development teams to validate application architectures built with .NET and Python
- Design integrations with SaaS platforms, including Microsoft 365 and Salesforce
- Support DevOps and CI/CD adoption using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and related tooling
- Produce architecture diagrams, reference architectures, technical standards, and technology roadmaps
- Provide technical leadership in complex digital transformation and multi-system integration programmes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and operational requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- No substitution of academic qualification with professional experience is accepted
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Systems Architecture roles
- At least one of: TOGAF®, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Hybrid and multi-cloud architecture design across Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments
- Enterprise Architecture and TOGAF frameworks
- IoT Architecture and Edge Computing solutions
- Microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- API-led integration and middleware platforms
- Security by Design principles
- IT Governance and Architecture Governance
- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Application architecture validation using .NET and Python
- SaaS integration, including Microsoft 365 and Salesforce
- Architecture modelling, technical documentation, and roadmap definition
- Experience leading architecture workstreams in large-scale digital transformation initiatives
- Experience delivering complex multi-system integration projects
- Experience within regulated sectors and/or public administration environments
