About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage families/care partners on access, affordability, and reimbursement processes for BridgeBio’s commercialized skeletal dysplasia asset
  • Educate families/care partners on access, affordability, reimbursement processes, and family support programs
  • Execute new product launch activities supporting infigratinib
  • Collaborate with the Director of Family Access Managers and internal colleagues to align patient services goals and brand strategies
  • Provide family-facing access and affordability support
  • Ensure a positive patient journey compliantly through BridgeBio stakeholder collaboration
  • Evaluate and implement family access opportunities within a specific geographic area
  • Provide personalized issue resolution by phone or face-to-face
  • Direct access support among consented families, hubs, pharmacies, prescriber offices, and support organizations
  • Coordinate missing-information follow-ups with the hub partner
  • Own relationships between ForgingBridges and consented patients
  • Onboard and welcome new families to ForgingBridges
  • Manage ForgingBridges status changes and follow up with families, prescriber offices, and pharmacies
  • Control information and communications workflows with families
  • Collaborate with Patient Advocacy and attend local, regional, and national advocacy meetings/events
  • Facilitate and present in-person family/care-partner education
  • Report compliant insights and findings to Brand Marketing and other Commercial functions
  • Handle protected health information according to BridgeBio policy
  • Attend national sales meetings, conferences, and regional events as needed
  • Develop and execute tactical plans supporting access imperatives and role metrics
  • Provide strategic and tactical input for continuous improvement
  • Perform designated Market Access/Patient Support Services projects
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of Biotech/Pharma experience
  • Patient services, Market Access, and hub experience preferred
  • Rare Disease experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Confidence building rapport with families/care partners
  • Strong foundation and experience working closely with patient support programs, including copay, cost sharing programs, affordability design, and hub models for medical and pharmacy benefit products
  • Understanding of the specialty market, buy and bill, retail market, reimbursement/access challenges, and OIG/CMS/legal guidelines for offering patient support programs
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop sound strategies and tactics for patient access
  • Superior oral and written communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous FAM/PAL experience is a plus
  • Extreme attention to detail for creating and managing program documents
  • Experience establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with families, patients, and key decision-makers
  • 40-60% domestic travel required, regionally and intermittently across the US
