About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage with families/care partners on access, affordability, and reimbursement processes for BridgeBio’s commercialized skeletal dysplasia asset, infigratinib
  • Educate families/care partners on access, affordability, and reimbursement processes
  • Build family support program awareness and execute new product launch activities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Family Access Managers and internal colleagues to align on patient services goals and brand strategies
  • Provide personalized face-to-face or phone-based issue resolution for access and affordability hurdles
  • Direct access support between consented families and hubs, pharmacies, prescriber offices, and support organizations
  • Coordinate missing-information follow-ups with the hub partner
  • Own relationships between ForgingBridges and consented patients
  • Onboard and welcome new families to ForgingBridges
  • Manage status changes and follow up with families, prescriber offices, and pharmacies
  • Ensure ForgingBridges business rules are followed
  • Control information and communications workflow with families
  • Collaborate with Patient Advocacy and attend local, regional, and national advocacy meetings/events
  • Facilitate and present in-person education for families/care partners
  • Report compliant insights and findings to Brand Marketing and internal Commercial functions
  • Handle protected health information according to BridgeBio policy
  • Attend national sales meetings, conferences, and regional events as needed
  • Develop and execute tactical plans supporting access imperatives and role metrics
  • Provide strategic and tactical input for continuous improvement
  • Complete assigned Market Access/Patient Support Services projects
  • Travel 40-60% domestically across the US

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of Biotech/Pharma experience; Patient services, Market Access, and hub experience preferred
  • Rare Disease experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrate confidence in building rapport with families/care partners
  • Strong foundation and experience working closely with patient support programs including copay, cost sharing programs, affordability design, and hub models for medical and pharmacy benefit products
  • Comprehend the complex environment of the specialty market, buy and bill, retail market, reimbursement/access challenges, as well as OIG/CMS/legal guidelines for offering patient support programs
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop sound strategies and tactics for patient access
  • Superior oral and written communication and teamwork skills to effectively contribute across cross-functional teams
  • Previous FAM/PAL experience is a plus
  • Extremely detail oriented to create and manage program documents
  • Experience establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with families, patients, and key decision-makers
  • 40-60% domestic travel is required, regionally and intermittently across the US
