About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage families/care partners on access, affordability, and reimbursement processes for BridgeBio’s commercialized skeletal dysplasia asset
- Educate families/care partners on access, affordability, and reimbursement processes
- Build family support program awareness and execute new product launch activities for infigratinib
- Collaborate with the Director of Family Access Managers and internal colleagues on patient services goals and brand strategies
- Provide personalized access and affordability issue resolution by phone or face-to-face
- Direct access support between consented families and hubs, pharmacies, prescriber offices, and support organizations
- Coordinate missing-information follow-ups with the hub partner
- Own relationships between ForgingBridges and consented patients; onboard new families
- Manage status changes and follow up with families, prescriber offices, and pharmacies
- Ensure ForgingBridges business rules are followed and control information workflows
- Collaborate with Patient Advocacy on engagements and attend advocacy meetings and events
- Facilitate in-person education for families/care partners
- Report compliant insights and findings to Brand Marketing and Commercial functions
- Handle protected health information according to BridgeBio policy
- Attend national sales meetings, conferences, and regional events as needed
- Develop and execute tactical plans supporting Market Access/Patient Support Services metrics
- Provide strategic and tactical input for continuous improvement
- Travel 40-60% domestically across the US
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5-8 years of Biotech/Pharma experience; patient services, Market Access, and hub experience preferred
- BA/BS degree is preferred
- Rare Disease experience is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Confidence building rapport with families/care partners
- Experience working closely with patient support programs including copay, cost sharing programs, affordability design, and hub models for medical and pharmacy benefit products
- Understanding of specialty market, buy and bill, retail market, reimbursement/access challenges, and OIG/CMS/legal guidelines for patient support programs
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop sound strategies and tactics for patient access
- Superior oral and written communication and teamwork skills
- Previous FAM/PAL experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented program document creation and management
- Experience establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with families, patients, and key decision-makers
- 40-60% domestic travel required across the US
