About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage medium- to long-term planning and face-to-face selling of products, services, and solutions across multiple lines of business
  • Protect, grow, and diversify relationships with assigned existing customers
  • Identify and manage customer interactions to develop cross-sell, upsell, and repeat sales opportunities
  • Resolve customer problems and ensure high-quality customer service
  • Develop client retention and profitable business growth plans and strategies
  • Review and report on customer retention, business opportunities, and market trends
  • Cover all of Iowa, Kansas, and the northwest corner of Missouri
  • Work on problems of moderate scope and assist with projects or processes under general instructions
  • Apply research to project planning, design, development, testing, and completion
  • Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to develop medium- to long-range sales plans and strategies
  • Ability to manage existing customer accounts and identify cross-sell, upsell, and repeat sales opportunities
  • Ability to resolve customer problems and ensure high-quality customer service
  • Ability to develop client retention and profitable business growth strategies
  • Ability to review and report on customer retention, business opportunities, and market trends
  • Employment eligibility verification via Form I-9 required if hired
  • Temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify employment
