About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the replacement market distribution strategy for Firestone Agricultural Products
  • Build market share and grow volume through sales and marketing programs
  • Develop and educate distribution partners and engage end users through dealer partners
  • Facilitate relationships with FSAG and distribution partners
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives
  • Meet with Direct Dealers about market conditions, pricing, and marketing/training opportunities
  • Contribute to replacement market vision and strategy for the assigned geography
  • Oversee FSAG marketing resources, cooperative advertising funds, and Firestone AG University training opportunities
  • Engage new and existing customers to understand needs and explain suitable products and services
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and credit terms
  • Facilitate special pricing requests and credit terms
  • Emphasize product features based on customer needs and technical product knowledge
  • Collaborate with peer salespeople and share selling and marketing information
  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and customer trends; share insights with leadership
  • Update monthly forecast projections and participate in the FSAG forecasting process
  • Perform administrative duties, monthly reports, sales records, and expense account reports
  • Promote a positive external image of Bridgestone/Firestone
  • Attend local, regional, and national farm shows and company meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or sales related field
  • Previous account management experience
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tableau, and web based reporting (preferred)
  • Experience in Agriculture or Tire industries (preferred)
  • Must complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification at the start of employment if hired
  • Temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify employment
