About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of children
- Maintain open communication with parents and share children’s daily milestones
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
- Provide in-person supervision and care in an early education/preschool child care center
- Deliver curriculum and services according to Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures, and guidance
- Ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons’ care and the employee
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education and a study plan leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education required
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred
- At least two years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred
- Must pass required state and company background checks
- Must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
- Must comply with applicable immunization, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training requirements
- Ability to work in person at an early education/preschool child care center
- Ability to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
