About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop OIC integration flows connecting Oracle Cloud Applications with on-premises and third-party systems
Build app-driven and scheduled orchestrations with complex mappings, error handling, and recovery flows
Configure and operate OIC adapters including REST, SOAP, FTP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, and custom adapters
Develop process automation flows using OIC Process Cloud Service
Build VBCS applications integrated with OIC and Oracle Cloud Applications
Implement API management strategies, security policies, throttling, and developer portals
Design error-handling and notification patterns, including retries, escalation, and resubmission workflows
Optimize high-volume integrations using batching, parallelism, and asynchronous patterns
Migrate legacy Oracle SOA Suite or third-party integrations to OIC
Collaborate with Oracle Cloud Applications functional teams
Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, incident response, and root-cause analysis
Maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures
Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal integration patterns and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
6+ years of experience required
Five or more years of integration experience, with strong hands-on time in Oracle Integration Cloud
Solid experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, or CX) data models and APIs
Experience with REST and SOAP web service development
Working knowledge of Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Process Cloud Service
Familiarity with API management concepts and Oracle API Platform
Strong scripting skills in Groovy and JavaScript, and SQL
Experience with OAuth2, SAML, and mTLS security standards
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
U.S. work authorization; U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply
Unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions
Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration certification preferred
Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database integration preferred
Familiarity with event-driven integration on OCI preferred
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD patterns for OIC content preferred
Working knowledge of MuleSoft, Boomi, or SAP CPI preferred
