About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop integration scenarios using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, including service operations, queues, routings, and handlers
Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST and SOAP web services
Develop transformations using XSLT, Application Engine, and PeopleCode handlers
Configure security on inbound and outbound services using WS-Security, OAuth2, and certificate-based authentication
Build error-handling and retry mechanisms, including notifications, monitoring, and resubmission workflows
Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts for hybrid integration scenarios
Lead migrations from legacy point-to-point integrations to standardized Integration Broker patterns
Optimize high-volume integrations through queue tuning, parallel processing, and asynchronous design
Integrate PeopleSoft with Oracle Cloud, Workday, ServiceNow, OIC, MuleSoft, and Boomi
Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures
Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, incident response, and root-cause analysis
Collaborate with functional consultants, integration architects, product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code review, design review, pair programming, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker
Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft
Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience
Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON
Experience with web service security standards (WS-Security, OAuth2)
Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model
Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi) is a strong plus
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches
PeopleSoft certifications preferred
Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications preferred
Exposure to event-driven integration patterns preferred
Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for PeopleSoft preferred
Strong understanding of API management concepts preferred
Must work directly as a full-time W2 employee of Bright Vision Technologies
