About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work directly with clients to design, implement, and manage financial plans supporting their “Life Plan”
  • Oversee assigned clients and conduct regular dialogue via email and video conference regarding investment objectives, goals, needs, and expectations
  • Educate and consult with clients on investment philosophy, market and portfolio performance, and other financial matters
  • Communicate understanding of global financial markets, current events, and topical issues and relate them to client investment strategies and Brighton Jones’ investment philosophy
  • Organize and input client data into Salesforce CRM and RightCapital; maintain data accuracy, integrity, and current records
  • Generate referrals from existing clients and independently
  • Drive the sales process with prospective clients to support ongoing growth
  • Refer clients with increased wealth complexity to the Personal CFO team
  • Support Brighton Jones’ mission by using objectivity, creativity, and passion to help clients, colleagues, and community members “live richer lives”
  • Provide teammates with timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback
  • Assist with ad-hoc client-support and team-support projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of direct client advising experience
  • Undergraduate degree and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation required
  • High level of technical expertise in estate planning, tax, retirement, insurance, investment, and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis
  • Familiarity and experience with executive compensation packages, including RSUs, ISOs, NSOs, ESOPs, and ESPP plans
  • Experience assisting clients with identifying planning strategies and execution methods
  • Familiarity with RightCapital and Salesforce CRM or similar software programs
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage heavy workloads and time-sensitive projects efficiently and effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, and Windows, required
  • Unquestioned commitment to integrity in personal and professional activities
  • Highly motivated to learn and grow and able to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with clients professionally
  • Full-time/exempt status position
  • Fully remote role, though in-office time is highly encouraged
  • Unable to provide visa sponsorship; applicants requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future cannot be hired
