About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as first point of contact for patient inquiries and customer services
  • Assist with solving patient issues
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Collect point-of-service payments, including patient copays and other patient financial responsibility
  • Communicate with clinic teams and central support regarding appointments and follow-up needs
  • Attend required meetings and huddles and collaborate within the clinic team
  • Maintain accurate new and current patient accounts, including insurance and billing information
  • Deliver exceptional patient experiences and support a warm, welcoming, smooth, and efficient in-clinic experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of prior front desk experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service-centric approach to work
  • Highly empathetic and compassionate
  • Competent at working with a diverse population of colleagues and patients
  • Natural problem solver
  • Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
  • Adaptable and agile within a dynamic work environment
  • Technologically capable and comfortable operating in multiple systems for communication and documentation
  • Familiarity with MS Office software (Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.) preferred
  • High degree of integrity and compliance with work standards and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and 42-CFR part 2 desired
