About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze repayment performance of the Experian portfolio
  • Evaluate underwriting and credit limit changes
  • Model cohort LTV and unit economics
  • Analyze the funnel from account creation through first advance
  • Own the Experian analytics layer, including dbt models, data definitions, reporting, and data quality monitoring
  • Own delinquency and non-payback reporting, including vintage curves, delinquency roll rates, gross and net loss, and recoveries
  • Evaluate underwriting model and credit limit strategy changes end to end
  • Analyze the collections lifecycle and recommend repayment improvements
  • Build and refine alerting for anomalies, incidents, and emerging risk trends
  • Maintain and extend the partner-level LTV model by monthly cohort
  • Partner with the Experian Product Manager and Tech Lead to shape the roadmap and measure shipped decisions
  • Work with Partnerships on bidirectional data sharing and quarterly business reviews
  • Partner with Finance on portfolio tracking, revenue coverage, projections, partnership commitments, and quarterly business reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–6 years of experience in risk analytics, portfolio analytics, or product analytics at a consumer credit, earned wage access, or fintech lending company
  • Advanced SQL — you write complex queries from scratch
  • Experience building or maintaining data models in dbt or a comparable framework
  • Experience with product funnel analysis, A/B testing, and experiment readouts
  • Sharp investigative instincts — ability to form hypotheses, find root causes, and size impact
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable being the single analyst embedded in a cross-functional pod
  • Fluency in consumer credit performance concepts: vintage analysis, roll rates, gross vs. net loss, unit economics, and underwriting and credit limit decisions (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with LLM-based tooling for analytics work (nice to have)
  • Must be currently based in the United States
  • Must not require employer sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future
