About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Focus on field evaluations of new and existing electrical power distribution systems
  • Analyze, calculate, and design new or rehabilitated infrastructure
  • Assist with field evaluations of existing electrical power distribution systems
  • Develop calculations, repair drawings, repair/replacement recommendations, specifications, and scope of work packages
  • Participate in client and contractor interface and attend meetings
  • Oversee written reports
  • Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects
  • Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development
  • Work with medium- and low-voltage power distribution for industrial plants

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Typically 0 to 2 years of experience
  • Experience mentoring and leading teams required
  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering codes
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • E.I.T. preferred
  • Arc Flash knowledge preferred
  • Physical mobility on the ground and at heights
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs when required
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and use fall protection
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions while wearing required PPE
  • Ability to work in confined spaces when required
  • Ability to adhere to client random drug testing programs when required
  • Ability to meet client facial hair safety policies when required
