About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist senior designers and engineers with field evaluations of equipment and piping systems
- Evaluate and measure existing piping systems in the field
- Create 3D AutoCAD designs of piping, equipment, and structures
- Create 2D AutoCAD drawings of plans, elevations, and isometrics
- Assist in developing evaluation reports
- Embrace emerging technologies
- Work with project teams and collaborate with others
Requirements
What you’ll need- Studying for a 2 or 4-year engineering or technology degree
- No prior experience needed
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required
- Experience with measuring, building, and constructing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physical mobility on the ground and at heights
- Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and use required fall protection
- Ability to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE
- Ability to position yourself to work in confined spaces
- Ability to adhere to client random drug testing programs when required
- Ability to meet client facial hair safety policies when required
- Ability to meet all client-specific site requirements before field assignments
