About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in generating instrumentation project deliverables for new or updated process instrumentation under the supervision of a senior-level instrument engineer
  • Perform project site surveys and walkdowns of existing instrumentation
  • Perform client instrument documentation searches
  • Mark up drawings or data sheets for as-found instrumentation and wiring details
  • Develop and prepare as-built or as-found instrumentation documentation
  • Assist with generating instrumentation data sheets, loop drawings, installation details, instrument lists, DCS/PLC I/O lists, and P&IDs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BSc in Instrument, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • 1–3+ years of experience
  • E.I.T. preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Microsoft Windows, and PC hardware
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical mobility on the ground and at heights
  • Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and use required fall protection
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE
  • Ability to work in confined spaces when required
  • Ability to adhere to client random drug testing programs when required
  • Ability to meet client facial hair safety policies when required
  • Ability to meet all client-specific site requirements before field assignments
