About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a core member of the Global Medical Sotyktu and Sjögren’s Disease Launch Teams
  • Lead global Sjögren’s Disease medical affairs and develop direct reports within the Rheumatology medical team
  • Develop, communicate, and execute the global medical strategy and tactical plan for Sjögren’s Disease
  • Request and manage the medical budget to execute the global strategy
  • Represent Medical Affairs in cross-functional leadership forums and align with clinical, market access, and commercial teams
  • Provide expert opinion on pathophysiology, diagnosis, and unmet medical needs
  • Partner with the medical matrix team on global medical strategy, launch plans, evidence generation, and medical communications
  • Build relationships with core market medical teams, global key opinion leaders, and professional societies
  • Lead advisory meetings and Phase 3 program data analysis
  • Collaborate on real-world studies
  • Translate evidence into publications and maintain scientific resources with Medical Communications
  • Maintain engagement with key opinion leaders and Sjögren’s Disease program collaborators
  • Report to the Senior Director, Global Sotyktu Medical Product Lead

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced scientific or medical degree, such as PhD, MD, DO, or PharmD
  • Minimum 5–7+ years of experience in the pharma/biopharma industry
  • Medical evidence generation, Global/US medical affairs, HEOR and/or launch experience
  • Immunology, Rheumatology and/or clinical development experience ideal
  • Advanced understanding of scientific principles underpinning data analysis and medical communications
  • Ability to distill complex scientific questions into simple analyses, evidence, and communications
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for working with external physicians/scientists and in-house teams
  • Strong listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, including ability to work under pressure and maintain scientific excellence within timelines
  • Ability to navigate complex topics in a matrix environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong oral presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, ethics, moral behavior, and professionalism
  • Ability to work in an HQ-based position with global travel expected up to 25%
