Key responsibilities & impact
  • Co-lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives with business leaders by establishing problem statements, outcomes, decision rights, governance, and integrated roadmaps
  • Connect functions around dependencies and trade-offs and maintain cadence for decisions, risks, and progress
  • Lead highest-priority PDS initiatives end-to-end from hypothesis framing and assumption testing through mobilization and execution enablement
  • Define workstreams, milestones, owners, success measures, and strategic levers required to deliver value
  • Translate business intelligence and external market signals into implications for growth, performance, and strategic direction
  • Synthesize findings into scenarios and recommendations and brief senior and executive leaders
  • Lead cross-functional program teams through operating rhythms, governance forums, decision tracking, dependency management, benefit measures, and escalation paths
  • Structure ambiguous problems by gathering evidence, testing hypotheses, and developing practical frameworks, options, and recommendations
  • Partner with senior functional leaders to drive rigorous analysis of complex datasets and business processes
  • Develop executive communications including decision briefs, steering updates, and leadership narratives
  • Serve as escalation point and advisor on program risk, prioritization trade-offs, and resourcing decisions
  • Build an inclusive team environment supporting collaboration, strategic program leadership capability-building, and professional growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MBA or advanced degree in science, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of industry-related experience in pharma or life sciences
  • Significant experience developing and/or leading strategic initiatives at an enterprise level
  • Significant experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm strongly preferred
  • Track record leading, coaching, and developing senior program/project leaders and cross-functional teams at scale
  • Exceptional ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders in matrix environments
  • Expertise in enterprise-level organizational change management and adoption
  • Deep understanding of global biopharmaceutical market dynamics and trends
  • Masterful project and program leadership with demonstrated value delivery on complex, high-visibility initiatives
  • Ability to distill complex information into decision-making frameworks
  • Expert communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
  • Travel up to 25%
