Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, test, maintain, and enhance software applications and components using modern programming languages
Write clean, secure, maintainable, and efficient code following software development standards and best practices
Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues, escalating risks or complex problems when needed
Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality, testing, and development practice improvements
Support application integration with APIs, databases, cloud services, and software tools
Use AI-assisted development tools or AI agents for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, agile engineering practices, and secure application development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience
Minimum of 1 year of exposure to AI development, AI-enabled applications, automation, or AI-assisted software engineering
Experience with at least one modern programming language, preferably Python
Understanding of application design, APIs, testing, debugging, and version control
Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems
Basic understanding of cloud-based application development, preferably AWS
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred: AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, or CloudWatch
Preferred: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices
Preferred: REST APIs, microservices, serverless applications, or application integrations
Preferred: SQL or NoSQL databases
Preferred: AI-assisted development tools or AI agents
Preferred: Agile/Scrum development methodologies
