About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support quality oversight, auditing, compliance, and risk management activities across the R&D Quality organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality systems, vendor oversight, inspection readiness, and compliance initiatives
- Assist in developing and enhancing audit risk assessment tools, templates, metrics, and reporting
- Participate in project-based work addressing business needs and strategic priorities within RDQ
- Provide project management support, including proof-of-concept activities and process design and improvement efforts
- Explore innovative solutions, digital capabilities, and process improvements to enhance quality operations and operational excellence
- Research and present future-focused advancements and emerging trends relevant to R&D Quality
- Present project outcomes, insights, and recommendations to leadership
- Work with mentors and experienced professionals to develop technical, business, and leadership skills
- Participate in networking, mentoring, and professional development opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Students must be enrolled in an accredited university program following completion of the 2027 Summer Internship Program
- Students graduating before December 2027 are not eligible
- Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- Immigration or visa sponsorship is not available
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university program pursuing an undergraduate, master's, or doctoral degree in Data Science, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Health Sciences
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; GPA must be included on resume
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of digital tools and technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in quality, compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with willingness to learn and contribute in a complex and evolving business environment
