About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with mentors for approximately 10 weeks on a guided research project within a Product Development Project Team
- Gain industry and functional experience through challenging assignments
- Learn about Bristol Myers Squibb and meet diverse company representatives
- Participate in company structure, products, and brands orientation
- Receive an introduction to GPS and Product Development organizations
- Present formally at the end of the internship
- Participate in formal review and feedback sessions
- Attend intern programming, including speaker series, learning and development sessions, volunteering, and networking events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Students must be enrolled in an accredited university program following completion of the 2027 Summer Internship Program
- Students graduating before December 2027 are not eligible
- Pursuing an undergraduate or dual degree (e.g., B.A., B.S., B.A./M.A., B.S./M.S.) in biochemistry, biology, biomedical engineering, business analytics, chemical engineering, chemistry, industrial engineering, pharmacy, or supply chain
- GPA of 3.0 or greater; GPA must be included on resume
- Authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- Immigration or visa sponsorship is not available
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent time management; able to work independently and in teams
