About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support live transactions across securitisations, structured finance and other capital market products
  • Perform financial modelling
  • Help shape transaction structures
  • Prepare approval papers
  • Help draft legal documents
  • Learn and contribute to every stage of transactions
  • Participate in a rotational programme across several product teams
  • Build expertise in capital markets and debt financing
  • Help improve access to finance for smaller businesses across the UK
  • Attend an office at least three days per week during induction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree, or equivalent work experience, in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Chemistry or Engineering
  • A minimum or predicted 2:1 is preferred
  • Curiosity, analytical thinking and enthusiasm for learning
  • Experience within a financial institution is desirable
  • Interest in the SME finance market is desirable
  • Commitment to working towards the CFA qualification is desirable
