About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Upload articles to the CMS with text, photos (from image libraries), and multimedia, when available
- Ensure compliance with established editorial standards and SEO metrics
- Edit and publish special features
- Select articles with high-impact potential and edit the homepage
- Write brief news items to maintain the flow of hard news coverage
- Select factual stories of interest to audiences aged 50 and over from Broadcast and Estadão Conteúdo partners
- Produce special reports, occasionally including multimedia extensions
- Suggest content for social media
- Maintain relationships with press offices to source story ideas
- Deploy or stand down reporting resources as dictated by breaking news needs
