About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise, implement, and optimize Broadcom mainframe-related software solutions for enterprise customers
- Apply Mainframe Application Development and Operations Life Cycle Management principles with Broadcom tooling
- Leverage Endevor, Zowe, and/or REXX scripting to bridge traditional mainframe environments with modern enterprise practices
- Partner with Broadcom Account Directors, Solution Architects, and partners to qualify solutions and architect frameworks
- Build relationships across customer IT silos and map infrastructure, challenges, and project impacts
- Provide technical guidance during customers’ conceptual and ideation stages
- Lead and execute product integration demonstrations, customized trials, and proofs of concept
- Present Broadcom’s technical benefits and competitive differentiators
- Provide technical specifications, system integration instructions, and requirements documentation
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Broadcom Mainframe Software products
- Analyze requirements to model and execute Life Cycle Management solutions
- Review and refine Endevor solution plans, upgrades, design shifts, and migration paths
- Conduct hardware and software comparative evaluations
- Oversee installation, configuration, and structural optimization of solutions
- Resolve complex post-implementation system issues as the senior technical tier
- Advise on customer environments and improvements across Mainframe DevOps frameworks
- Translate emerging Life Cycle Management trends into strategies and technical recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- 8+ years of related mainframe experience
- Deep understanding of Endevor and/or competitor solutions, including ACM, PDM, Security interface, and Quick Edit
- Ability to implement or upgrade Endevor, build processors, create inventory structures, and configure life cycle elements
- Proficiency with REXX and experience scripting or coding quick implementations
- Firm understanding of Endevor processors and mainframe utilities such as JCL
- Ability to travel to client sites
- Active listening and ability to translate complex client requests into structured business needs
- Ability to deliver professional written updates to project managers and customers
- Strong technical communication skills for knowledge-transfer sessions
- Experience aligning daily execution with project management communication frameworks
