About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Produce advanced learning content supporting Broadcom Education's learning and performance needs
  • Conduct job, task, knowledge, skills, and needs analysis with senior management and employees
  • Design and develop blended learning and performance support solutions across multiple delivery modes and technologies
  • Lead curriculum design and implementation and develop plans aligned with organizational goals
  • Manage external vendors and tailor learning content to Broadcom culture and practices
  • Integrate learning content consistently across curricula and roles for audience-specific needs
  • Create and update instructional and performance strategies and processes
  • Gather, analyze, and organize content with subject matter experts
  • Collaborate with Development, Support, Services, Marketing, and Curriculum Development teams
  • Meet employees, customers, and partners to plan work and solicit feedback and requirements
  • Validate the effectiveness and business impact of learning content
  • Coordinate development efforts for new internal and external learning delivery systems
  • Serve as technical expert on content development projects and maintain instructional and learning integrity
  • Participate in curriculum workshops, technical walkthroughs, pilot classes, and development activities
  • Maintain learning paths and curriculum roadmaps
  • Explain solution vision, capabilities, business value, and offerings to customers and prospects
  • Support Sales and Technical Sales with education solution development
  • Develop software images, environments, and technology support for learning content and performance support solutions
  • Make strategic and tactical curriculum development decisions independently and resolve conflicts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience; or Master's degree and 6+ years of related experience
  • Five or more years of experience in an instructional design role
  • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
  • Experience in managing stakeholders
  • Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
  • Ability to work in a physical office environment at one of the listed locations
  • Strong working knowledge of software education
  • Strong working knowledge of mainframe software
  • Strong working knowledge of the mainframe application development environment and modern mainframe environments
  • Experience with data analytics
