About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, interpret terms, allocate events to holders, and reconcile transactions
  • Perform reorganization events, ensuring instructions are received and processed timely and accurately
  • Mitigate risk and exposure to the firm
  • Monitor deadlines and critical cutoffs
  • Learn and understand stock records for retail and institutional accounts
  • Process allocations and ensure reorganization events are paid timely and reconciled accurately
  • Provide outstanding client service and escalate operational client issues when necessary
  • Communicate with custodians, depositories, counterparties, and clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years of experience in voluntary corporate actions; recent college graduates with internship experience will also be considered
  • Ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Experience with BPS/DTC/Euroclear/Clearstream is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work in the office 2x a week
