Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, modify, adapt, and implement short- and long-term technology solutions
Review system requirements and business processes
Code, test, debug, document, and implement software solutions
Develop program logic for new applications and analyze or modify existing application logic
Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented
Deliver high-quality software on time following Broadridge SDLC and Agile processes
Work across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in different environments
Ensure technical and security best practices and Broadridge standards are continuously followed
Troubleshoot production issues and participate in technical design sessions
Translate business requirements into technical designs
Contribute technical solutions for software development projects
Understand dependencies between software and other parts of the processing stack
Estimate priority and non-priority projects and recommend scope or schedule changes based on capacity and unforeseen challenges
Identify potential issues while focusing on priorities
Collaborate with peers to deliver high-quality work by established deadlines
Guide more junior associates through established processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-8+ years of experience with commercial software architectures at both a software and infrastructure level
Functional skills in Application Development Life Cycle, Agile Development, System Design and Architecture, and DevOps / Deployment automation
Hands-on coding experience with Java, Python, Kafka, APIs, and RDBMS
Experience using AI and language models in the SDLC
Ability to work under pressure and be highly adaptable
Strong written and communication skills for collaboration with various teams and upper management
Ability to adapt, embrace change, and support business strategy and vision
Passionate teammate who understands and respects personal and cultural differences
