Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and implement software solutions addressing short- and long-term business and technology needs
Review business processes and system requirements to inform technical designs and development plans
Write, test, debug, document, and deploy secure, scalable, and maintainable code
Develop application logic for new solutions
Analyze, modify, and maintain existing applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Deliver application enhancements and system improvements
Contribute technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle
Support successful implementation and reliable performance
Contribute to cloud and generative AI initiatives, including agentic AI for proxy account opening, handwriting recognition, a digital assets platform on AWS, and a mutual fund proxy project management platform on AWS

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in software development and application systems environments
Demonstrated proficiency in some or all of .NET, C#, Python, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and Angular
Knowledge of AWS application development would be a plus
Understanding and application of software engineering procedures and concepts within the discipline
Basic knowledge of related technical disciplines
Understanding of key business drivers and ability to apply that understanding to deliver effective technical solutions
Ability to resolve straightforward problems using technical experience, professional judgment, established practices, and precedents
Ability to communicate technical and complex information clearly and effectively
No direct supervisory responsibilities; provides informal technical guidance and support to new team members
