About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct high-level technical analysis of ideas to determine feasibility and approach
  • Provide accurate work estimates for project timelines and delivery commitments
  • Maintain and migrate existing code bases to newer platforms
  • Develop, automate, and execute test cases, verifying results against expected outcomes before code release for business or client acceptance testing
  • Provide input into integration, implementation, and deployment content and strategies
  • Maintain operating manuals and system documentation as necessary
  • Support, update, and enhance automation tools
  • Complete special projects, tasks, or assignments as required to ensure department success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Solid knowledge of programming, testing, and deployment tools, techniques, and languages applicable to the products or systems
  • Strong knowledge of application analysis and design methodologies, including database concepts
  • Practical experience with Perl, Python, Java, Linux, and Shell scripting
  • Experience developing and executing automated tests as part of the delivery cycle
  • Knowledge of AFP and PDF print formatting and testing, including content and formatting
  • Working knowledge of the software development project life cycle and Agile methodology
  • Experience with Selenium and Cucumber
  • Strong technical skills across development, scripting, and test automation
