About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct audit and reconciliation testing of voting processes
Ensure jobs are set up correctly for physical and electronic distribution
Validate job coding and ballot/voting instruction form details
Review email specimens and internet agenda functionality
Identify and report problems or potential risks and communicate findings to management
Process voting and issuer job details accurately within defined guidelines
Maintain professional working relationships with internal business partners
Work closely with the Manager and provide regular status updates and feedback on control effectiveness
Work continuously with the team in a cross-functional environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Work overtime based on processing volumes

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of hands-on experience in Operation Auditing, Accounting, or Quality Assurance
Exposure and/or knowledge of brokerage, proxy, or financial business operations preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and data entry skills
Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
Flexibility to work rotating shifts required
Windows environment proficiency
Exposure to database systems is an asset
Ability to attend interviews in person
Background check including employment verification, education verification, credit inquiry, and Canadian criminal record check
Basic home office setup, high-speed internet, and ability to work without distractions during core business hours
Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
