About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Welcome members and visitors while delivering professional and friendly service
Provide outstanding member service to new and existing members or visitors
Accurately process financial service transactions while maintaining a cash drawer
Detect and report fraud or irregular activities
Build member relationships by identifying solutions and making recommendations
Respond to member inquiries about information, products/services, lending, and related topics
Problem-solve and resolve member issues
Promote self-service resources and digital channel offerings
Participate in cross-selling initiatives, campaigns, promotions, and events
Pursue professional growth through coaching, job shadowing, mentoring, and training
Achieve management-provided goals and objectives
Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
Support branches within the Capital Northwest #1 Region, including Malta, Wilton, and Clifton Park - Route 9

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED, and customer service experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work out of any location at any time, as business needs dictate
Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Ability to operate in a rapidly changing dynamic environment
Excellent oral, written, and auditory communication skills
Interpersonal interaction skills
Bilingual individuals fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply
