Key responsibilities & impact
  • Welcome members and visitors to Broadview Credit Union while delivering professional and friendly service
  • Display ownership of the branch and lobby to ensure efficient operations and a positive member experience
  • Provide outstanding member service to new and existing members or visitors
  • Accurately process financial service transactions while maintaining a cash drawer
  • Detect and report fraud or irregular activities
  • Build member relationships by identifying needs, recommending solutions, and deepening relationships
  • Respond to member inquiries about information, products/services, lending, and related topics
  • Problem-solve and resolve member issues in a timely manner
  • Promote self-service resources and digital channel offerings
  • Participate in cross-selling initiatives, campaigns, promotions, and events
  • Pursue professional growth through coaching, job shadowing, mentoring, and training
  • Achieve management-provided goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Highschool Diploma (or GED), and customer service experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good oral, written and auditory communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must be flexible to work out of any location at any time, as business needs dictate
  • Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Bilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply
