About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advocate for members and provide solutions to help them achieve financial goals
  • Attract new retail and business members and deepen existing member relationships using The Member Advantage approach
  • Deliver exceptional member service with accuracy and operational excellence, including problem and complaint resolution
  • Support branch growth of a profitable book of business to achieve individual, team, and corporate goals
  • Build new relationships through Community/Foundation involvement and member referrals
  • Promote, educate, and demonstrate available service channels
  • Participate in coaching, job shadowing, mentoring, and training
  • Detect and report fraud or irregular activities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Achieve management-provided goals and objectives
  • Support branches within the Central NY Region, including Midler Ave, Deys, and South Crouse Branch locations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree preferred, or combination of equivalent education and experience
  • One to two years of branch banking experience
  • Passed and maintain Notary Public License within 6 months of completion of Relationship Banker Training
  • Signature Guarantee permissions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Ability to multi-task to meet or exceed minimum performance standards
  • Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work out of any location at any time, as business needs dictate
  • Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to operate in a rapidly changing dynamic environment
  • Bilingual individuals fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply
