About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct support to Seahawk NEST Academy daily operations and students in all areas of student life
- Assist with recruitment, enrollment, and onboarding processes
- Serve as liaison between Vocational Rehabilitation and NEST students
- Assist students with campus schedules, academic support, student support, and assistive technology plans
- Update Seahawk NEST files and records
- Assist with office management, visitor reception, correspondence, and business processes
- Support social media, website, and event programming
- Collect student data for ongoing reporting
- Build and cultivate community partnerships
- Participate in professional organization meetings, consortia, professional development, and recruitment events
- Ensure compliance with college policies, accessibility legislation, and Post-Secondary Comprehensive Transition program guidelines
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree required; an equivalent combination of education or experience may be considered
- Three years of related experience
- Strong knowledge, understanding and skills in area of responsibility, including an understanding of concepts and principles of related areas and functions
- Ability to manage own work to job and performance standards
- Ability to participate as an active team member
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office Products and specialized computer systems
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate with employee and student populations
- Completed online employment application, resume, and unofficial transcript required
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of required background screening
- Must complete I-9 and provide documentation of identity for employment purposes
