  • Position Brown and Caldwell as a strategic advisor beyond project delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the environmental engineering and consulting industry with progressive responsibilities including marketing and business development
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, sales, or equivalent experience
  • Water industry experience
  • Executive leadership experience
  • Established network within California water
  • Ability to attend the California client organization’s Board and committee meetings
  • Ability to represent the client organization at meetings, hearings, and conferences throughout California
  • Strong knowledge of California water issues, including legislative and regulatory matters
  • Exceptional complex client portfolio management capabilities
  • Demonstrated executive leadership and strategic planning capabilities
  • Strong oversight of quality, risk, and profitability
  • Advanced business opportunity evaluation, go/no-go decision-making, and pursuit strategy development
  • Proven success as Sales Leader on major strategic proposals
  • Advanced risk identification, mitigation, and portfolio management expertise
  • Proficiency with digital solutions, data systems, and AI-enabled tools
  • A master’s degree or Ph.D. is preferred
