About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete a dynamic 10-week internship immersed in BBH’s culture and business needs
  • Work on meaningful projects in investment management, operations, technology, and client services
  • Work with technology professionals, leaders, and senior developers to build systems used globally by employees and clients
  • Learn how technology solutions are built, deployed, run, and protected
  • Participate in the evolution of BBH’s technology strategy, including data and AI
  • Gain exposure to the software development life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Support business requirements discovery and create requirements documentation
  • Assist with planning meetings, prepare materials, and participate in meetings with business users and vendors
  • Analyze proposed changes and technical issues, and assist with solutioning and troubleshooting
  • Contribute to design processes and technical specification documentation, including data modeling, dataflow diagramming, screen design, and workflow analysis
  • Participate in development and systems testing, with exposure to development and automation tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current junior in college, entering senior year in fall 2027
  • Background in and passion for Computer Science or Information Technology
  • GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • Ability to analyze business processes and identify patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities
  • Experience or interest in working with large quantities of information for analysis
  • Demonstrated leadership through academic and extracurricular activities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically independently and in a team
  • Sound judgment and ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple deadlines
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including VLOOKUP, IF, basic charts, and pivot tables
  • Knowledge of SDLC, technology design, Agile development, and programming skills such as Java and SQL
