About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, prepare, and deliver corporate German language training for employees from Basic to Advance levels
- Focus training on business communication, vocabulary, and workplace etiquette
- Develop specialized learning materials, modules, and curricula for industry needs such as engineering and corporate business
- Assess initial language proficiency and track progress through quizzes, oral evaluations, and formal assignments
- Create an interactive, inclusive, and professional virtual or in-person learning environment
- Provide constructive feedback, personalized coaching, and additional support for grammar and pronunciation
- Maintain attendance, lesson tracking, and performance evaluation records for HR and corporate reporting
- Collaborate with the L&D team to align training milestones with international expansion and overseas assignment goals
- Translate company documents, reports, contracts, manuals, and business correspondence between Indonesian/English and German when needed
- Review, proofread, and polish translations from other departments when needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in German Language, German Studies, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching German as a foreign language, preferably in a corporate environment or adult education setting
- Native or near-native fluency in German
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Proficiency in digital learning management systems (LMS)
- Proficiency in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Classroom
- Exceptional communication, cross-cultural awareness, patience, adaptability, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage busy professional schedules
